The place to be

Originally built in 2001, Beaulieu Park is situated within one of England’s newest and most vibrant cities – Chelmsford in Essex. This well-connected county town has a rich history and today offers a wide range of shopping and leisure facilities plus quick and easy access to London and beyond.

Beaulieu Park has now become one of the most sought-after areas to live in and with its new development and expansion of local amenities, this truly is the Place To Be…

Local area

Beaulieu Park benefits from a landscape led approach and will result in a series of distinctly designed neighbourhoods, cleverly linked by extensive open spaces and landscaping, helping to connect the development with the surrounding countryside.

In the immediate vicinity a new neighbourhood centre with shops, restaurant, day nursery, community and health care facilities is to be delivered to ensure a vibrant community hub from the outset. In the longer term, the development is also set to benefit from 176 acres of open space, new schools, relief road connecting through to the A12, train station plus a business park

Beaulieu Park couldn’t be better placed to take advantage of existing and proposed new transport links. You can find information on bus routes here.

The development is approximately 3.6 miles from Chelmsford City Centre, which offers direct rail services to London Liverpool Street in approx. 35 mins and Ipswich is approx. 40 mins. What’s more, Beaulieu is set to benefit from its own mainline railway station on the East Anglian main line, which is due to be development by Network Rail.

Chelmsford also offers a Park and Ride service. There are two Park and Ride sites, located in Sandon and Chelmer Valley. These sites offer convenient transport on modern, air conditioned buses, using designated bus lanes into the City and Town Centres, with stops at key locations.

For domestic and international flights London Stansted Airport is under 21 miles away from the development.. London Southend Airport is also just 22 miles away.

Home to two of the country’s leading grammar schools, Chelmsford offers first class education facilities across all school years.

Beaulieu residents will benefit from several existing primary schools in the immediate area from day one. Two proposed new primary schools plus a new secondary school will be built at Beaulieu in the near future.

Neighbouring the highly regarded New Hall Independent School, Beaulieu is also ideally placed for those seeking private education. Open to pupils ages three through to sixth form, it provides first class facilities on its historic 85-acre campus.

Shopping & Leisure

Chelmsford is a bustling city with pedestrianised shopping precinct offering the well-known High Street names including John Lewis, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer and Next. The city boasts two shopping malls, High Chelmer and The Meadows and a variety of specialist retail outlets; Moulsham Street and Baddow Road are particular favourites with many chic boutiques and an array of specialist shops.

The first phase of development at Beaulieu will include a neighbourhood centre which incorporates shops, a restaurant, a day nursery plus community and health care facilities.
